Principles & Practice of Nanofabrication
Photon, Electron, & Ion Lithography
Proximity Probe & Imprinting Lithography
Molecular Beam Epitaxy & Chemical Vapor Deposition
Particle Self-organization, self-assembly
Principles & Practice of Nanoanalysis
Mass Spectrometry
Photon & Electron Diffraction Techniques
Photon, Electron, & Ion Microscopy
Scanning Proximity Probe Microscopy
Case Studies and Team Projects
The course emphasizes primarily on the case studies and team projects rather than the lectures given in the class. Students are grouped into several teams to work on projects proposed by themselves in the midterm examination. Grades are given based primarily on the performance of a team in the final report and individual contribution to the team work.
